Protoboard is a web platform for hardware engineers and makers. It provides a validated parts catalog (ProtoPart) with datasheets, 3D models, and specs; open-source project guides with parts lists and build instructions; and brand profiles for hardware companies. The platform includes ProtoBot, an AI assistant that helps with parts validation, component suggestions, and system planning. Protoboard supports NFC-enabled hardware tagging for physical-digital linking.
