What is ProtoBot Energy?
Energy is measured in Watt-hours (Wh) and powers every ProtoBot AI action - validation, component suggestions, system planning, and more. Your plan includes a monthly recharge, and you can top-up anytime.
Can I buy more Energy?
Yes. Both Free and Pro users can purchase one-time Energy top-ups at any time. Base rate is $1 = 100 Wh, and larger packs unlock automatic volume discounts.
What happens when I run out of Energy?
All other Protoboard features keep working. ProtoBot conversations pause until your next monthly recharge or you purchase a top-up.
Is there a student or classroom program?
Yes! Universities and schools can sponsor Energy for students via a redemption code. Contact us for bulk pricing and pilot programs.
